Authentic realism in live sound capture has always been a staple of SAM. We’ve been experimenting with immersive sound and perfecting it with our Spherical Sound system since the early 2000s, also applying it to Dolby Atmos™.
With this method, we have recorded performances for national television RAI and world-renowned conductors such as Zubin Mehta.
Studio Recording
Achieve outstanding, versatile and balanced audio recordings, both live and overdubbed. With a wide range of analog equipment and vintage digital technologies, our technicians can meet any creative demand.
We host original microphones from the 1930s such as the Neumann M7, the 1950s such as the M49, the U67 and the Telefunken U47 and modern mics such as the DPA 4006 and the AEA N8, original tape machines such as the MCI JH24 and the latest innovations in digital technology.
Direct to Vinyl
First take it is! Print your studio performance straight onto lacquer disc: no FX, no AI, no BS. Just a live room with a few basic tools and a ribbon microphone, properly pre-amplified and directly connected to the lacquer cutting machine, unique and unmodifiable.

Our control room is equipped with Dolby Atmos 7.1.4- certified, with a frequency response of 16 to 20,000 Hz, thanks to our subwoofer, designed and built by the SAMworld team.
ReSound midi-VSTs
Nothing beats the original. Send us your digitally recorded virtual instrument or midi track and we “re-sound” it with real synths or instruments, using our wide range of vintage analog synths and amplifiers.
Or let your music pass through our original tapes, reverb machines and tube compressors such as the famous MCI JH-24, EMT 140 and Teletronix LA-2A.
