Dolby Atmos™ certified Recording Studio in Tuscany
Regia / Control Room
The heart of our Dolby Atmos™ ready control room is a 48-channel Raindirk Symphony LN1 console, a model that has recorded or mixed the Three Tenors, the Barcelona Olympics, Pavarotti in the Park and “The Wall” in Berlin.
The control room measures 8 x 5.3 m and is designed to provide highly accurate acoustics. It features vintage valve gear as well as state of the art digital equipment giving artists the option to choose a 2″ 16-track Soundcraft analogue recording system or Pro Tools (32in/56out).
Sala Grande / Recording Room A
Designed by acoustic designer Christian Malcurt of the Artistic Palace in Paris, our main recording room features a beautiful Steinway grand piano and boasts excellent acoustic through Abam hardwood diffusors.
The room measures 8.5 x 6 x 4.5 m and is equipped with moveable acoustic isolation screens made from stone on one side and insulating material on the other, making it possible to modify the acoustics and/or to separate session musicians for a perfect balance of sound.
Sala Piccola / Recording Room B
Our second recording room is characterized by a short reverberation time and features an original Hammond organ. Separated by a large window it enables a clear line of sight between session musicians in the main hall.
The room measures 5.4 x 3.7 x 2.7 m and is also equipped with moveable acoustic isolation screens, so it can potentially be turned into a second control room (24 in/8 out). Our machine room is situated on the upper floor above the room but can potentially function as an amp booth.
Production Room / Recording Room C
A great space for composing, our production room is equipped with a Harrison 2824 LED Soundcraft console and a vast collection of vintage synths and drum machines from the past century, mainly the 1960s, 70s and 80s.
The room measures 4.1 x 3.9 x 3.4 m and hosts fantastic vintage synths that made music history like the Yamaha DX7, Korg MS 20 MK1 or the Farfisa Deluxe, which are all connected to the Soundcraft mixer and the control room to broadcast compositions to crew and band members.
Lounge / Recording Room D
With a beautiful view on the surrounding Pisan Hills, our lounge ensures relaxation between sessions but is also connected to the control room and can therefore be used as a working station or even as a live room.
Our Lounge measures 4.4 x 4.1 x 3.7 m and features a sofa and armchair, a conference table for meetings, work desk setup with an iMac computer and speakers for editing or composing, a dining room and kitchenette as well as a coffee bar and terrace. Wi-Fi and an FTP address are available.
We co-created a unique technology that connects our studio with neuralgic points in town directly via fibre wire, making these locations available as recording spaces.
The local theater is only a minutes’ walk from the studio and renders a perfect and intimate space for rehearsals. A nearby grand theater can be used for bigger orchestral rehearsals.
The local Teatro di Lari is located literarily around the corner of our studio and offers an intimate stage for rehearsals and performances. The nearby Teatro Verdi of Casciana Terme holds 400 seats and a stage of 226 m² for bigger orchestral rehearsals or musical and theatrical performances.
